Home Chef "Experiment"

So.. for the past few months, I've been receiving shipments from Home Chef to help me become a better cook, making healthier menu choices.

I really enjoy the diversity of Home Chef's selections.   I've prepared veges I've never even heard of before, plus all the meat entrees have been perfectly cooked.  I've learned to be a lot more organized in the kitchen, leaving less of a mess to clean up.

I signed up for the "lower calorie," but there are all kinds of menus from which to choose including but not limited vegetarian!  Subscribers can alter their choices, too.  Plus, we can "pause" subscriptions.  This weekend is busy for us because we have plans to attend Sing Along which is like dinner theater.   So I decided to take a break from cooking.

I'll probably start it up again after our schedule returns to a variation of normal.  The cost is roughly $10/meal, less expensive than going to restaurants for sure!

One of our favorites is the Cheesy Bacon Breakfast Muffins:   https://www.homechef.com/meals/cheesy-bacon-breakfast-muffins

The recipe yields six large muffins, but I made 12 minis.  LOL!   We enjoyed two for breakfast one Sunday morning, and saved the rest.
